Marketplace clutter

I noticed the GT5 Marketplace is a bit cluterred with completed trades, is it possible to set it so that setting the tag of the thread to "Completed" auto-locks it or is that not possible in vBulletin?

Do you mean auto-deletes? Because I don't see how auto-locking would change anything.

Do you know that the tags are filtered links? If you were to click on wanted, you'll only get wanted threads, likewise with available.

That can cut down on some of the clutter.

Yep, auto-deletes. I know they can be filtered, but that's not a good enough solution.

But then every member that posted in the completed threads would have all of their posts reset. Also, the completed threads create a good archive.

Unfortunately, there's no technical way to "hide" completed threads from the forum. However, in addition to filtering the topics by the other prefixes, you can show threads with either the Wanted or Available prefixes using the advanced search page (just hold down the CTRL button to select more than one prefix).

It would be good to close them soo we don't get a new member bumping a 1 Year old thread like it happend a few days and more .
