I'm getting married in less than 72 hours. I'm sorta now starting to freak out a little. I mean spending my life with one person. Yea i see myself doing it with this individual but it comes as a shock that i could actually do something like that..... i dont know damn it i need some help trying to get through this.

Your 20 and getting marrier. . . how long have you been engaged? how long have you know this girl? Have you sowed your oats? Have you tasted the Rainbow? Have you stopped and smelt the Roses? I mean if your freaking out about marriage, it might not be the proper thing. . .

weve been engaged for 7 months now and i do love her im going nucking futz over her. I would do anything for her and hell i gave up my system for her.(computer)

Well, *slaps in face* Stop freaking out man, and be satisified with your decision and give it 110%, that is the bottom line :D

If you guys really know each other and really love each other, it'll be great. It will suck from time to time (no comments from the peanut gallery), sure, but for the most part it's a blast being married.

Do I constitute the peanut gallery? If so, I'll refrain from the easy joke.

Congratulations, and I do hope your marriage works out for you and you soon to be wife.

Congrats, hope everything works out.

It's like a marriage party here at GTP.

So are you going all out and inviting everyone, or is it just a little one?? Good Luck either way........

its going to be a small one i dont want everyone seeing me in my uniform so there for her family and my best man and her maid of honor plus some extras

Run for the hills, boy!

Just kidding! :D

On March 16th, I will be with my wife for 10 years. Actually, we are not married under any "laws," but we consider ourselves as a married couple, and we have two boys age 7, soon to be 8, and 3. To hell with the "laws."

Ask yourself this; is she the first woman you think of when you wake up in the morning; and is she the last woman you think of before you go to sleep at night? That's how I decided.

Good luck!

The middle part of the day is reserved for thinking about other women.

that just made my day:lol:

Dude, marriage kicks ass. If you know yourself well and you know her well, you're not going to make a mistake. The trick is knowing yourself really.

Congrats and good luck. You're not going to need it. :)

The one down side of marriage that I feel I must prepare you for is that it kinda forces you to be more responsible with your money.

i.e. don't let your wife know you have any.

I already know what happens when she knows i have money weve been living together for 3 months... needless to say im broke about 4 days after pay.... it gets better though i got a 800 dollar raise a month

Yep....good old marriage.....wait, I'm only 18, I know nothing about marriage! You can't make me get married! You can't!!!

Great, I have officially made a complete and utter idiot of myself. But in all seriousness, I wish you luck. Even if I don't really know you at all.

I remember being at work on the day before I was going to get married. I was walking up a flight of stairs and for some reason the thought of spending the rest of my life with the same woman just hit me. I almost passed out. I had to sit there in the stair well for about 10 minutes. Eventually my boss came walking down the stairs. He stopped beside me and said "It finally hit home huh?" I looked up and smiled and he sent me home early. (nice guy) Anyway I'm glad I went through with it now. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Good luck. If she is the right one it's worth it.
