The final launch (for the time being) is the Marussia MR02. They might be backmarkers, but significantly, they have a car ready for the first test for the first time in their short history.

Rumours abound that their second driver will be confirmed at the launch.

Lotus E21 - January 28th
McLaren MP4-28 - January 31st
Ferrari F138 - February 1st
Force India VJM06 - February 1st
Sauber C32 - February 2nd
Red Bull RB9 - February 3rd
Mercedes AMG F1 W04 - February 4th
Toro Rosso STR8 - February 4th
Caterham CT03 - February 5th

Marussia MR02 - February 5th
Williams FW35 - February 19th

It's fantastic that they will finally have their new car ready at the first test (or any test for that matter). Hopefully this will set them up much better for the rest of the year.

Going by recent showings, the same as last year.

*tempts fate for something interesting*

I think Marussia and Caterham may be the most different looking, they need to do something drastic to the car more than the top teams.

Pat Symonds has served his suspension for his role in the Singapore scandal, so he's free to work on the car now.

Tell me about it. The MR02 is getting overwhelmingly-positive reactions right across the internet as one of the best-looking cars of the 2013 grid.

Really?! The livery does nothing for me especially after the great one last season.

I like it, looks very sharp indeed. Best livery the team has produced, I hope they do well this year. Especially if Petrov pops up as the 2nd driver somehow.

I want to touch this car :D

I think both the shape AND the livery look stellar! IMO all the cars released so far look tremendous!

Any word on the second driver yet? I know Razia is the one tipped for the seat.

I don't mind the livery, looks cool in an old school kind of way, the shape's very clean, but as others have said, almost in an Indy Car-ish way.

Well, it's the same chassis, that's for sure, they trimmed it up and were finally able to make it into a car with features like its big sisters, but they're going to be learning a lot of hard lessons this year because of that, I believe.

I think a lot of the reason that they were able to almost beat out Caterham and get close to the points a couple times last year was because of the sheer simplicity of the car, it wasn't hard to set up for a comfortable drive for each driver. The Cosworth was a bolt-on job, and it was easily balanced. It also had no KERS to worry about. The lack of some of these optional innovations lead to good reliability for sure.

Now they still have Cosworth (only team with the engine this year), but since they've got KERS now things are different. The sidepods are so huge! I think this could be a desperate measure of keeping temps down from the added systems and newly tighter tolerances they've had to shove into this old body not meant for it. If I were them I'd be concentrating on coming to 2014 with a proper effort, this seems more like an exercise for them as a team, not exactly a challenge.

The only thing that seems like they might've gone somewhere much better with the design is definitely the diffuser and beamwing which is just lightyears ahead of last year's effort behind the airbox outlet.

I hope they do well, but I have a feeling we'll be seeing them parking a lot.

I'll go ahead and be the first one to say this looks very underwhelming. It almost looks like it's a car from a series below F1. Looks nowhere near as advanced as all the other cars so far.

The sidepods are so huge!

Was wondering what you were talking about, then I went back to the frontal pic and yowza... if you can't get enough cooling out of that, you're probably on fire.

It's pretty. Pretty in the sense that it's not covered in all the knobs and waves and fins that well-developed aero brings. Which probably means it won't be very fast.

But at least it's pretty. And I like the livery, too.

Exactly the same as my thoughts. I doubt Marussia can challenge the others except Caterham this year either.

It could be due to some light/contrast related trickery coming from the fluo-orange bits, but it looks like it's about 30ft long in those pictures.

It is a bit longer because of the Cosworth being slightly bigger and the new Kers system being fitted, but this is always been the case with this strange chassis, remember in 2010 when they would run out of gas 'cause the tank was too small so they made the whole thing longer to accommodate?

The Marussia looks like a bullet train to me, it just seems weird from the nose to the shape of the roll hoop...But I like the livery

I like everything about the car (paintjob, car shape etc etc) but I hate the white strip on the nose. I'm not too sure as to why though.

The car had some teething problems yesterday when Chilton crashed going into Curva Dry Sac (the place where Schumacher hit Villeneuve in 1997). It appears to have been some kind of suspension failure at the rear.

From the front it doesn't look as much like ass, the livery on the sidepods is still a bit iffy

I just miss the sexy beast from last year.
