Mass Effect heading to PS3!

The latest edition of OPM UK has posted up a variety of rumors concerning the PlayStation format.

On the list God of War III won't be released until Xmas 09, Capcom is developing Dead Rising 2 for the PS3 too, Mass Effect and its sequels are heading to the PS3 and Netflix will allow for movie downloads straight to the PS3.

To quote:

- God Of War III is along way off, won't be released until xmas 09
- The BBC reckons sony has an amazing secret game in the works for 2009
- Capcom is developing Dead Rising 2 for mulitple platforms including PS3
- Team ICO's new game has links to Norse myths
- Mass Effect and its Sequels will come to PS3
- Sony already has a in-game version of PS3's XMB up and running
- Netflix will soon offer movie downloads straight to your PS3

I'm going to say this way in advance. This game owns!!

Seriously though, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus were two of the best games on PS2.
 
I would love dead rising 2 but capcom have never talked about it.... everything was just rumors...

Yippeee..... In game XMB!
 
Mass Effect is an awesome game, I'm glad they are branching out so more people can bask in it's epicness.

Seriously though, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus were two of the best games on PS2.

I absolutely 100% agree. I just played through "Shadow of the Colossus" for the 3rd time, but this time with a friend, kind of like in the movie "Reign Over Me" which tends to feel like a "Shadow of the Colossus" commercial at some points. Check the film out if you haven't seen it.

As for Mass Effect. I played it through on the 360, and I am planning on using my gamesave for the next game (which has been confirmed as a feature), so you can continue the story with all your stats armor, weapons, etc... Therefore, it's going to be tough for me to start over from scratch just for the pleasure of playing it on my PS3 with the superior PS3 controller layout (I'll admit that part is tempting).
