I'm so happy with my bike at this point. I've always ridden old and used parts that were all messed up, but now I have a bike that is good, strong and something I'm proud to own. Please leave comments if you'd like!

Don't even ask how much my bike is worth now.

Yeah I ride brakeless. I am thinking of rocking brakes soon, but I don't know.

Here's a video my friend made - http://youtube.com/watch?v=ViCu9izV704
That's about 2 months old, and I got some better stuff now.

And here's another video of me and my friends biking - http://youtube.com/watch?v=6Q23e-W3bIk

We're making a movie, but we need so much more footage. I'm going to the skatepark around here tomorrow so I'm going to try a flair (Backflip 180 on the quarter pipe).

Nice bike. I have a Schwinn SuperStock 1 that I havn't ridden since my wife bought me my GT. The Schwinn is a dirt jumper, though.

With a 28 tooth sprocket and a 10 tooth hub you can't get going terribly fast. You don't need brakes for that.

If you're thinking the 28 / 10 gearing makes me pedal fast, it's fine. It's not heavy but I don't top out quick either.

For freestyle of riding, finesse is key, not speed, so the 28/10 (2.8) is fine. My Schwinn is geared at 45/12 (3.75). On flat ground, it moves like a bat out of hell, but long uphills, not so much.

Sunday rules. I dig the Shadow chain too. You can beat the hell out of those things.

I used to ride with new style bike parts, but once I switched to old school (89 Dyno VFR), I don't think I can go back. I am willing to potentially sacrifice durability for ridability. I pretty much only do dirt jumping.

Nice bike. I don't know much about BMXs, but I'm sure this all good stuff. :)

Make sure you wear a helmet!

Strap a 250cc bike engine to it, go for a trials bike! :)

But it looks pretty sweet, and clean. I should put some pics of my bike in here somewhere.

Sweet ride. I'm sure you'll love it. Don't get hurt too fast.

I'm more into those 50 pound bikes to go fast down hills and get big air off drops and jumps with. I ride a Yakuza.

Nice bike PLmatt91. I think your setup is a killer. Everything looks just perfect. Who needs brakes when their riding street. ;) Hahaha, how I wish I can ride BMX again, but its gonna be a long time before I could start riding again...... (most probably when I get a job... :indiff:) So how much does the bike weigh? From the looks of the setup, it must be really light. Oh, I like that you had the Profile crank as well. 👍 I also really like the Profile hubs and Step (the stem is the most awesome out there)

Well I hope you get to do your movie soon. Really like to see what you can do... (a Flair transfer from QP to bank maybe? :D)

Nice bike 👍 I was used to riding built bikes as well, made up from about 10 or so different one  But I ended up buying a BMX for about $200, but the bike dude gave us a rip off, everything needed to be bought new.

Thanks for the comments guys. The bike weighs no more and no less than 25 pounds. Maybe even 24 pounds. It's incredibly light now.

How come you've only got stunt pegs on one side of the bike?

Well since I was a BMXer before this, i'll try to answer the question. The answer is just simple, because I think PLmatt91 could only grind on his left. There is many explanation on why some riders just like to have 2 pegs instead of 4. The most common one is that you could only manage to grind on one side better than the other. The other reason is that some riders don't want their bikes to be too heavy, so they just use 2 pegs.

Hope that does explain a bit. :)

PLmatt91: 24 pounds? Man, if you were using an all titanium parts, you could have make it half as light as it is now.

Yeah I grind on my left because I can't grind on the right for my life.

And I'll never ride a titanium bike. It's not even worth riding, they'll break and bend soo fast.

thats a dope a$$ bike you have...my brother runs a mint green sunday and he just got some chrome sunday bars...mine is just the mirraco black pearl LTD with all the odyssey stuff:dopey:

whats it weigh?

A bunch of my roommates are bike messengers. They breathe bicycle parts. Something is always coming or going, buying or selling. They make good money, but it is a pretty big risk out there, and so much of their earnings go straight back into their bikes. I've seen them dart by on the streets - crazy.
