I am so relieved to see matt come back to his winning ways; esp. what that jerk (in my opinion) tony stewart did to matt @ daytona. Sorry, Der Alta, I couldn't resist saying that. I have been a fan of kenseth's since he started his rookie year in 2000. I have met matt a couple of times, both at black and decker's world hq, in towson MD. (B&D owns dewalt.) I hope matt and his entire team can win at least a couple of more races this season. And as always, git-r-done!

If there were ever a saying in human's existance that shows the least amount of intelligence, "git-r-done!" would be it. I absolutely HATE that comedian. Sorry, paracefan2002, I couldn't resist saying that.

Anyway, I still would like to see the video of the 2nd lap bumpdraft Kenseth threw on Stewart. That might adjust your feelings. Irregardless, this'll keep Kenseth off of Stewart's case for a while.

Kenseth may have had a good run for this race, but that doesnt guarantee anything for him. He usually sucks it up over the middle of the season, and that gives Tony Stewart plenty of time for paybacks (Ha ha ha)...

I have to admit, Kenseth is my least favorite of the Roush guys. Mark Martin is my favorite of them all, being that he used to run the midwest ASA series with Rusty Wallace, and used to be friends with my Mother and Father back in the '80s.

...Too bad my hometown hero Johnny Benson isnt doing Nextel Cup anymore (maybe 2007 with the Camry?), but I grew up following him at the local race track, up to ASA, then Busch and Winston Cup... He was another racer my Dad used to hang out with, and I got to go to his house/garage a few times when I was a kid...

According to ESPNEWS, Kenseth lost 25 driver points for some violation. I don't remember too well, but I do know that while Kenseth got the victory (congratulations, by the way), he also picked up a 25 point loss. Is he back? He'll REALLY be back if he makes it to the Chase for the Cup and stages a good enough run... which is what I hope Jeff Gordon can do for his cause.

He lost 25 points for a violation NASCAR found in his Busch car. It doesn't affect his points in the Cup Series.
