So I decided I wanted to paint all of my RM cars a different matte color. After painting them all matte I noticed they all lost a lot of PP. My RM ZR1 lost about 80 PP after painting it matte green. :grumpy: Does anyone know whats going on with this or if it even affects performance?

Maybe you have not been into the tuning section in a while for some of those cars as the last patch made tires lose their factor when concerning PP.

It might have just updated your car data from the last time it was tuned, driven, or modified. I really don't think it has anything to do with the actual paint.

Maybe the matte texture will increase coefficient of drag? :)

Seriously, I think its just an update issue between garage and tuning page.

Maybe the matte paint is super heavy!

Or you didn't account for the update to your tires not being part of PP :)

I have noticed the PP in the garage is different than PP in race menu and tuning menu. my E-Type jag had 557PP in the garage but only 507PP in the tuning screen. ( thought it wouldn't be allowed in the classic car seasonals so i went to de-tune it and didn't have to )

I heard both add 50HP and increase downforce by 30%

yeah baby!

On another note, a little known fact-

Blue LEDs in your computer make it cooler.
Red LEDs improve performance.
And, yes, Green LEDs make it environmentally friendly.

But actually in real life, it's proven that a dirty car consumes more fuel than a freshly cleaned car, because there in more wind friction! But in gt5, no! Haha

Surely this is a good thing as it means you can now use your RM cars in PP limit races which previously you couldn't.

FYI - I duped all my RM cars so I could have them all matte black too 👍
They go well with my 6 stealth models too.
