Sorry to have to post this here but it did not get enough views in the ps3 forum and i need help if anyone can provide some advice! It would be very appreciated, even if it's a simple "there's nothing that can be done".

Have you tried contacting Sony? They'll know what to do... Maybe even try the online manuals?
