Or newer. I prefer the older bodystyle to the newer.

Other than the 323 GT-X in GT2.
I thought about it but it isn't a hot hatch in my view but an homologation limited production volume model of Group-A rally car as was 323 GTR and Nissan Pulsar GTi-R and Delta Integrale and... I want them all back though!

I speak of a Golf GTi and Focus ST competitor as MPS 3 is considered.

So... the Lantis 2000 Type-R then?

I thought of that too but it is a 5d liftback-coupe styled car, so not a hatch. I own one too, the 1.5L ;)

It was a direct competitor to the Golf IV GTI though in its time.

the lantis/323F is more of a coupe to me and handles like wood. I drove the MPS3 in FH2 (not this one, but they are similar) and it seemed a LOT more alive and hothatchish.

This hot-hatch is exactly why, I miss the old, fun, and Ford-owned Mazda. Plus, the 'Zoom-Zoom' jingle.
