So, im giving this car its 3rd go in this incredible, exiting historic race.

Thing is... The 2 other times ive raced this race, its been with the old tyre wear model.

Now, with patch 2.07 out, and some spare time, im giving it another go.
My problem however is the new tyre wear with this tail happy beast!
And im in need of a good endurance setup, not hot lapping.

- Does anyone have a really good tune for good tyre wear?

I've searched around, and found lots of good tuning sheets from like Praiano's and RKM and others, but all threads i've come over has been for general racing on various tracks.

I need a good tune for the Curcuit de la Sarthe in the 24 hour Le Mans (A-spec).

Im gonna race without driving line and ASM and such, most of it with G27 wheel.
Probably racing hards on the rear and mediums on the front.

ABS will be set to 1, and maybe TC too, unless someone has some other suggestions.

Is there anyone who can help me? ;)

It might be a good idea to search for a tune with which you feel comfortable with, and then start working on the parametres that have big differences to tyre wear. Lowering camber, setting toe to 0 and lowering your brake balance will all help with tyre wear.

I'm not sure about which tyres you should use. For the most realistic experience, I'd go with hards front and rear all race, but since PD messed up with the durability of the softs, it's still faster to run all softs all the time even if you have to pit every other lap.

Also in A-spec there's some shenanigans on using rain tyres, since grip is always Low instead of Real I think sports softs are good in rain but I'm not sure.

All in all; It's best to find a tune that you feel comfortable with. Lowering camber and toe should help with tyre wear all through the field so you should go as low as you can with those. I'd try a brake balance of 5/4 or 4/3 at first and then alter it to 4/5 or 3/4 depending on if the fronts wear more then the rears (fronts wearing more than rears, set a higher brake value to the rear and vice versa).

Thanks for the advice and suggestions. Much appreciated. 👍
