Mazda Miata/MX5/Roadster tune?

In GT League, I hate this car! Especially at the Streets of Willow races! Unfortunate, it’s a required car and cannot he ignored. The AI are very dastardly with their rubber banding trickery! Does anyone have a setup to help make this car not drive like crap?

Very nice tune Squander , I use your tune for the Green Hell and it handled very nicely for this track. I only change the final gear to suit the track, I also beat these guy's below .

Hey mate, you maybe doing something wrong, because I do the first 2 steps and then I change the 1th gear to 1.954 with no problem.

Reset the transmission to default and do the gears again and see what happens, or buy a new Mazda Roadster S (ND) '15 and see if you can get the 1st gear to 1.954.

Proper naming convention = Mazda Roadster
Outside Japan = Mazda MX5
Miata = Wrong.

That is weird, because I can buy a new car and get the 1st gear to 1.954 with no problems. Can you place picture on here of your transmission, so we can see what is going on.

I gave up and sold both cars

There was another car S-FR 2015 where I tried the tune and I couldn't get the 2nd gear to the figure that person posted :/

Surely there has to be a tranny trick like in GT6 etc.

I had a look at his tune and it should be the final gear 5.000 and not 5.500.

Is this a drift setup? The car is very tail happy. Unless having the power fully boosted is not recommended?

You can see i did final to 5000 and speed to 180 and 1st gear can only go as low as 1.963 lol

Most likely cause by updates that the gears numbers sometime change, and if you want certain gearbox for a track just let me know in my fordlaser garage.

Hi @squander,

Im. New to GT games. Im an adult gamer and I find all this stuff quite tricky to wrap my head around.

I registered on the forum mainly to say THANK YOU for this info on the Mazda S

I put it in and the difference is night and day.

Im still co fised about dialing the gears. Ill get to it im sure but for now i put in everything else like you said and it's AMAZING.
