No, it's not. It's the other concept Mazda unveiled at the SEMA, the Spyder (the "normal" MX-5 would be the Roadster). It has a bikini top, which is a somewhat common solution amongst trackday enthusiasts who want to shave off the weight of the foldable roof, but still have some form of protection from any eventual rain that may come to ruin their fun.
As for the Speedster... It's a Mazda Roadster with its windshield chopped off. How could I not vote it? 👍
