Ugh I can't do it... I gave up on it a week ago, then decided to try and do it today since it ends tonight...

I've only golded the fiat event, and placed 5th in the challenger one.

Is the GT-R one pretty easy?

The rx-7 is just too hard to handle for me.
 
Make sure to buy all upgrades, and only buy the best. Make the car as powerful and light as allowed and don't forget things like a racing transmission, double clutch, racing suspension, rigidity improvment etc. You don't need to buy everything all the time, but if you can't beat it, invest. Then try to find the best gear ratio - depending on the engine characteristics it is not always the best idea to make it too short. In general I'd say : at the fastest part of the track you should still have about 500 rpm before you hit the max rpm. Suspension : lowest possible.

settings :

active steering : strong

( the one above active steering, sth like drift-stop translated word by word from my German menu ) : on

ABS : 1

rest : off

I did gold on all 10 seasonal events, and I'm not the best driver out there.
 
So buy the fully customizable transmission and suspension?
 
GT-R one is fairly easy. Up the HP to 492 and down the top speed on the tranny to 168 (after buying FC Transmission). You should be hitting the first trap in less than 35 seconds or else you will not catch the Ford GT.
 
Just tried the gt-r one. got 8th... 41 seconds past the ford gt... made my money back from buying the gt-r... so pretty much free car.

Think I'mma give up on these special events, and start working on the ones that expire on the 12th.

I hope they keep putting these up though.
