I just won a mazda rx8. Should I keep it or sell for the 75 k? If I do keep it, what races would it be good for?

I tried it in one beginner race and it handled well, but it was a dog out of the hole. (course,... that might be because I have been driving the svt..HHMMM)

Keep it. It's a nice car and you might need it someday

If I remember well the prize RX-8 is 'purple-something'.
You don't get this color when you buy it from the dealer, so like Ving said, keep it if you like it.
I do have one of each color just because I like this car. :crazy:
 
I want one in black so i might try and get one. Although i'll have to sell off one of my 199 cars though. I like them all. :(
 
I say you keep it,the car has sweet handling.But if u need the dough then sell it.
 
I sold mine when I won it now Im regretting selling it.:irked: :trouble: Oh well I'll have to attempt obtaining all golds in the license test.I'd keep the RX8.

My garage has 200 cars, so you can get a new car without having to sell anything.
 
useless information alert...

you cant change the wheels on the RX-8...why is that?
 
I guess because it's a "concept"? The Next gen Viper GTS-R is the same way. :irked: I'd keep the RX-8 it's a good drifter I got rid of it early because I didn't see the potential in it and I didn't like it either. I regreted that... I got it back though. :)
 
Definitely keep it. It is the third-oldest car in my garage.
 
I would resist the urge to sell cars, unless they're duplicates. There are a number of special colors or cars you can only win once. In Amateur league the prize purses get bigger, and with a race car or two to use you won't need to spend sop much money on upgrades.

I found that I quickly went from having only a few thousand credits at any given time during beginner to suddenly having a few hundred thousand in the bank, and I regretted selling a few cars I couldn't replace.

Besides, prize cars come already broken in so they are at full power at zero miles, unlike dealer cars which need to run in a little.

As an OT aside, do you know about the virgin oil change trick? Before driving any car, change the oil and get 5% extra power for 250 credits.

Keep it and upgrade the engine, you can get around 500HP out of it. It won't dog in starts anymore, I guarentee.

It is one of my favorite cars. I finished all the races I could with it.
 
I upgraded it to over 500 hp, added a few other things, and it wasnt able to keep up in AM races as well as I would think. My skyline is def. better at this point, though more squirelly in the turns. Guess I might as well piss more $$ away and put everything else that will bolt on... I do like the way it drifts, so maybe I will set it up as such..
 
You can only win one in the game - might want to keep it.
 
nah get rid of it. . . you'll have remorse about it later : )
 
Well, you can win a Evolv Puaple or Black Mica one as many times as possible, but to win a red/white/silver/blue one is a one-time-only thing.

I have a blue one that's fully modded, and a purple one that's almost stock (but an oil change, full tranny, and tires).

I thought you would get one when you get 8 golds in one of the licence series (IB or IA, can't remember right now).
Anyone could check this ?
