Mazda6 Touring Car? is it actually the MAZDA ATENZA TOURING CAR?

Ok guys, serious question here, is this the MAZDA ATENZA TOURING CAR?

Reason being it has the same specs as the atenza literally, same paint and same number, but the only difference is the name?

These are the only differences as far as i can see, and if it wasnt in the original list compiled, then that would mean then the ATENZA is actually a Rare car pardon the pun as its gone out of production as such as it wont show up anymore???

Can anyone shed light on any of this?? Many thanks

Yes, they are exactly the same car, just given a different name to boost the car count.
 
There's about 200 duplicates in GT5. (duplicate as in "different name, same car")

Think Eunos=Miata=MX-5, éfini=RX-7, or, a lot easier to spot, all (EU)/(US)/(J) variants of e.g. S2000's.

I plan to make an equivalence list in the near future to filter for unique models.

The 6 is known as the Atenza in Japan. GT has a habit of including all of a car's names as seperate models.
 
What i meant was, was this a new car from the 1.06 update i know the various spin offs, obviously some didnt see the link between LM-Race Car 98 Mercades and GTR CLK Race Car 98. To this... Never mind haha
