As part of his YouTube series looking into the world of car design, legendary automotive designer Frank Stephenson has put digital pen to paper to create a unique vehicle for Grand Theft Auto V.

(He's actually responsible for designing all of them IRL - which yeah, i realise is stated in the article. Doh!)

The front end is a bit blatant; but then again Subaru just showed off the new WRX where they incredibly badly copied the BRZ rear end (which already lifted more than a few elements from the NSX) to a completely different shaped car, so maybe not.

For gta 5 this design works really well,not a very pretty car but gta online has its fair share of ugly supercars

Design?? looks like my 2,5 yo son would create a supercar: frontbumper from the F430, hood from the Maserati MC12, tailwing from the FXX and some other "stolen" parts of sport and super cars... This is far away from a good design.

No, but it - and reading the article - would certainly head off the "stolen" comment.

Summary: Car designer dude makes GTA car design out of his own real car designs because that's how GTA does it.
