McLaren F1 roadcar vs racecar

I can't decide between the road car and GT1. GR.2 car doesn't really appeal to me even though I know how good it is. I'm just looking for the best driving experience and not necessarily the best car for grinding or usability.

Personally, the road car is one of the most fun to drive road cars in the game. Easy to slide, easy to catch, fantastic sound. The GT1 looks fantastic but drives quite rigid as stock for my tastes, although its very much personal preference.
 
I personally prefer the Gr.3 Shorttail GTR. I think it sounds the best, but the driving lights make it look cross-eyed. The road car is also great, but it doesn't fell planted at all with the stock tires.

The road car is a fantastic drive. Definitely takes some practice because there is so much power and not a lot of tire or brakes due to its age, but overall fairly easy to drive. It's almost like a Miata in how much body motion it has but it's very communicative. This all seems to check out with videos of it being tested back in the day. It's forgiving of minor mistakes but you definitely need to plan your moves ahead of time because it covers ground in a hurry.

Sounds like my kind of car! I love the Shelby Cobra for the same reasons

Buuuy the road car I have one ingame and I love it so much, it's an epic car in this game, even better in VR!!! I may post a photo later!!!

I went with the road car and of if I could do it again, I wouldn’t have gotten either one.

As of now, I don’t think any car in the game is worth 20 mil, but maybe that’s just me. I’d rather experience the 10-20+ that cars that I could have gotten instead.
 
I love the street car but find it's handling to be absolute crap. Almost entirely due to understeer caused by it's undersized front tires. If someone has a good suspension tune for this car I'd love to check it out. And I don't mean a tune including aero or race tire usage.
