Okay, here is an update to this topic.
I had a chance to view 5 out of the 7 movies including the McLaren F1 GTR. I just want to say that not only the car is aweseome, but I finally got my samplings of the courses involved. I seen Tsukuba, Fuji, Citta d' Aria, and New York. COMMENTARY:
The first video is basically a 360 degree view of the wonderful McLaren F1 GTR. The New York demonstration looks pretty cool. I can imagine taking my fastest cars for a spin around the city that never sleeps. New York was pretty cool and favors high speeds. But the small kinks in the road will make drivers want to revise their line if they think they can do 180 in a fast kink. Fuji is going to be awesome. As an off-topic deal, I think it's "foo-jee" rather than "fee-jee." Anyhow, Fuji is a high-speed course. Nice gentle corners, and that bending right turn into the chicane should be fun. Tsukuba would be cool to race around. In fact, it should make a nice test track if you perfer not to use the big, longer than Talladega oval. I even noticed a few different screenshots to race with. There's the chase cam, the bumper cam, the birds-eye view (in which I was skeptical at first about), and even a roof-cam.
Okay, now to the more important part. The F1 in action. In action, the McLaren F1 backs up its powerful superexotic persona beautifully with its BMW F1 engine. The engine noise is like the Toyota GT-one from GT2 and the Jaguar XJ220 GT Race Car from GT3. The speeds were in KPH, so I was a bit wrong when I thought that the F1 could do 260 mph (unless John Force is racing it). The car spun out later in the New York race. I was enjoying how lovely New York looked. Everything from Central Park to Times Square, it was dazzling to say the least. But still, I tend to like Tokyo R246's surroundings more. Anyhow, the F1 should have won the NYC race I seen. Then to Fuji, where the JGTC has a McLaren in GT500, but this F1 is the GT Racer with Fina sponsorship. To see it tackle Fuji was pretty dazzling. The beautiful weather and the amazing handling was something to awe over. Tsukuba was a good track. The F1 looked nice there and when GT4 releases, I'll probably have more fun with Tsukuba. Maybe I can talk smack about my hot laps in my F1 on Tsukuba. My final note, I would want to salute the person who had the guts to race a McLaren F1 through Citta D' Aria. I thought it was going to be a rally race, but it is a road race. The streets are so doggone NARROW! You want to avoid the walls, of course, but the track is going to be more like a long Autocross track, just take out the cones. Maybe "Mazda Rev it Up" would have a cup race there in GT4. Just imagine. You, a Mazda 3, a closed circuit, and NARROW STREETS.
But all in all, the videos I took a look at were a sweet look at GT4 and a well-done job by PD putting in the McLaren F1 GTR. Someone mentioned a McLaren F1 with bubble lights. Turns out, they were like bubble lights. Anyhow, nice videos. And it doesn't matter if they are new or old. I haven't seen them, so they're new to me. And I loved them.
Don't know what laptime was done here, but I bet I was faster
