Some of you may know that today is the 5th Anniversary of the passing of Colin McRae. Just wanted to start this thread so we could pay our respects to this unique and talented individual. One of the most talented drivers I have seen drive, and he will never be forgotten.

I remember that day clearly. Came back from a motocross event to hear the news.

Can't believe it's already been 5 years.
 
Colin was one of my heroes as a kid... I followed his career through Subaru and Ford and watched his exploits on ITV1 on a Saturday teatime back in the days of Gronholm/Burns/Sainz/Makinen/Delecour/Panizzi/Solberg/Auirol/Rovanpera

A proper driver

It wasn't the same after Burns and McRae, I've hardly watched a rally since
