hey everyone.
im back in maryland and i wanna start drifting in real life.
go to places where people gather and socialize among the drifters.
anyway
im up to buying a car, something cheap for the time being, like 1500 or so
a 240 nissan i was thinking.

do you know any site on internet or place where i can find cars to buy?

is there anything specific i have to check on the car to make sure i'll be able to drift with it?

know of a place where people gather in md (bethesda, rockville) to "share the passion" ?

thanks, feel free to contact me.

The 240 is an excellent choice. I could go over all of the over played reasons why it is so great, excellent weight distribution, good stock horsepower blah blah blah. But instead I'll worn you. Make sure you are not buying something that has been thrashed. You're better off getting something that's been banged up by a blind ol' lady than something that looks great but has been beaten on by an "enthusiast." These cars are becoming increasingly hard to find in a condition that is useable. You can easily find a cheap 240 but I've seen some horror stories about the money speant on making the car drivable.
