not a tf2 thread, but basically, a thread about medicine, healing, panaceas, and redneck fixes.

here's my latest fix-up on myself after a strange papercut.

it's hard to keep a bandage in place around a curve like that, so I Scotch-Tape'd it in place with 2 or 3 5" long pieces of tape.

I live in TX, so this makes it more redneck.
 
Gotta do what you gotta do. I've duct-taped gauze over wounds before. Pretty gnarly gash but I avoided the cost of an emergency room visit and stitches. At great risk of infection I followed the health insurance company's advice! :lol:

Can't you pour beer or some other alcohol to ward off infection on the wound?

Don't post a picture of your fat cut hand on the internet then, what exactly do you expect peoples responses to be?

Nobody's impressed and I highly doubt many are going to contribute because it's a pretty disgusting topic.
 
Learn to take some criticism, Feral Pigeon. 'Tis a skill that will serve you well.

Everyone else, take it easy. We don't need yet another section where a good chunk of the threads end in arguments/put-downs/name calling...
