Well, here are some of my highlights and pics from the show.

So my dad and I bought our tickets, and headed in. We were first faced with the Beemers, I didn't find much too interesting. The first thing I noticed were the BMW 1 Series Cabrio and Coupe.

The new X6 attracted many photos, I couldn't manage to take some good shots, all the rest were very, very blurry.

An M6 was nearby and I ended up running to it  Here are some pics:

Concealed behind a random wall was the stunning M3 Coupe. It was much nicer than I remember when I saw it on road. Good work BMW :)

Next to the BMW stand was the Hondas. They didn't have anything of interest so no pics.

Mazda was next to the Hondas, so it was our next stop. The first car I saw was the CX7 but that bored me so off to the Mazda2 rally car...thing.

The new Mazda6 looked great, although the wagon looked fairly big.

The Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep stand was boring. Skipped it.

The Bolwell Nagari was the next car. It looks much better in blood than in photos, it certainly did have some nice lines.

The rear did put me off... a bit.

Subaru was the next stop. First thing I noticed was the new WRX STi and Spec R, again looks better in person than photos. The styling was well..subtle, although I loved the side intake vents for some reason. Rear brake lights were a let down though.

Behind the WRX stood the STi tuned, Legacy/Liberty. It looked amazing, the bodykit matched perfectly and the windows were tinted so dark you couldnt even see inside.

All right, enough of the Suby's. A bright orange paint attracted me towards the Hyundai's. It was the amazing Genesis coupe. IMO, it was one of the best looking cars at the show. The bodykit was mostly CF. Simply awesome work Hyundai 👍

I got bored and moved over to the glowing stand of the Lexus IS-F. Simply awesome 👍

We moved over to the Audi's, we were greeted with the A6 2.8 Quattro.

Behind it was the huge A8.

An unloved TT caught my eye. I moved over to find it was the TTS! Nobody was exactly interested in it but my photos caught other's attention.

The S5 looked great in white, but the front end looked a bit squashed, like it had been squashed in the face.

An A3 cabrio was next door, decided to have a look. It looked smaller than the normal A3.

The new A4 3.2 was behind. Honestly, I don't think it looks as good as the current A4.

I saw an A6 Estate, but it was no normal A6. It was the uber wagon, RS6!!! The LED light thing under the headlamps were on, it looked cool.

The R8, hidden behind the rest was a serious crowd attractor.

Going on with the VW A.G theme, the Lambo's. No comment on these

Nissan was next. The GT-R was at the very back of the other cars. It was certainly an awesome car, I just had to take about 15pics, here are the best few:

That's all for this post, the next post down contains the rest.

The first Ford I noticed was the Mondeo wagon, on first glance it looked like a Ford Territory from behind.

Ford's main show stopper the Falcon was next up. It certainly looked better than the pics.
The G6E:

FPV GT:

XR8 Ute:

The Territory F6X!!

FERRARI!!! Ok I couldn't get good pics, too many people around.

Not many people were into the Maseratis, but they certainly were pretty damn awesome.

Moving on to the Holdens was a good idea. The fastest, best HSV was on stage. One awesome HSV it was 👍

More importantly, the Coupe 60. If I may say, it is epic.

The "Sportwagon" looked great.

Volvos. BORING!

Range Rover held an interesting Concept car.

VW had the usual stuff. Golf, Passat etc. The Tiguan was the only new thing here.

The Renault Laguna is the ugliest thing ever made so no comment.

The brand new Peugeot 308 Touring didn't get ANY photos, so I got some good ones.

The E-Vade was too hard to get good pics of.

I wont even bother with the Veyron pics, they were useless anyway.

The Mitsubishi's were boring, I couldn't take a pic of the Evo properly anyway.

Toyota had the FT-HS, looks amazing.

The last car to visit was the Proton Satria Neo. Boring.

I ended my tour with the Mitsubishi Evo Xbox 360 race. No bragging but I kicked some serious ass of the guy I was racing :D
Me kicking ass:

Me after kicking ass:

If anybody would like a 1024 version of any pic, just PM or post in thread. Anyone else who would like to post their MIMS pics is welcome to :)

Imageshack is being slow. I'll try again later.

Nice shot, all my Veyron shots were really blurry, and my crappy camera didn't help either.

Very nice shots guys, there were some quite nice cars there:tup:

Shouldn't this be in Videos and Photos though?

Cant wait for next pics:)

Well I was thinking about that myself. I thought that this would be the place because I wanted others to comment about what they thought about the cars, not the pics. Mods can move it if they want to though.

Oooh, look at the death stare you gave the other guy :sly:
That Proton was the R3 Satria.
What engine did that Hyundai Coupe have in it at the show? I must know. It's a brilliant car IMO. Let's hope it gives the Nissan Z its' beat down

I'm actually not too sure whether or not it was the V8. Although I think it was. Can somebody verify this for me?

I find this strange, either the automotive press screwed up or they haven't cottoned on to it yet. The V8 hasn't been anounced as being in this car- they said it probably wouldn't happen. Yet CarAdvice say it was a V8 at the show and nothing else about it

Well at the show, it didn't say anything about the car. So I'm guessing its the V6, since nobody will see it anyway.

Probably, if it's the same car as from overseas shows it's a V6. Albeit quite a powerful one :sly: (From Hyundai, I still can't believe it!) I wish they would sell it in Australia, showing it at our show and not selling it to us is a big middle finger to us.

The Renault Laguna looks like a modern day BX.

Actually I can't believe that Laguna was voted most beautiful car of the year. It really is ugly :yuck:

I have been given a chance to redeem myself from these crappy pics. I'll be going to the Show again (yes again) with some friends this Saturday!

<---- I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to give the BMW M3 the boot...

Good idea ;). Now, this time I will get better shots and hopefully collect all the show bag things
