Menu Backgrounds

I apologise in advance if this has been posted previously but I haven't found anything about this in my searches through middle earth.

I remember there being a background animation of your chosen car in a black space filled with smoke, yet I have not seen that one since. Does anyone frequently get that background animation? All I seem to get is the Christmas market background...at the least appropriate times of the year.

Does anything influence the choice of background made by the game?

I know this might be a rather trivial matter but it's been niggling at me for quite sometime! Thanks in advance for any advice shared.

Hmm as far as I know there's nothing you can do to change the background area.

You can infact change the backgrounds, due to how far you have gone into the game, for example in class C you get a few backgrounds and so on.

Yep I have seen a guy who has the Audi R8 video as his backgroung not sure if it is spec 3 though
