I bought this car the other day, i spent money on upgrades, went to drive it and it was almost impossible to drive without it just spinning relentlessly. I removed the upgrades because i thought perhaps its too much power for the car and went to give it a test drive and its still a problem. Anyone got any suggestions to control this or should i just sell it off?

I actually do not think it is all that bad. You have to carefully measure out the throttle on corner exit. The car is VERY unwieldy in real life so do not expect it to be easy in GT5.

Are you kidding me? I fully tuned this car and it's just amazing!

Maybe check your TC and ABS settings? A little suspension tuning and racing tires could do the trick to..
But I have never had any problems with it.

Use a wheel over playstation 3 dual shock. Problem solved :D

The C63 is a bad boy IRL and it should be in GT5 as well. "To much" torque is the culprit in this case... the car will light up the rears in any gear and keep them lit for as long as you wish...

Yeah, the C63 has a habit of wanting to throw you into a wall... just refine your technique =)

It was the second car I bought. And the first car I sold... JK

It is hard to control, but you learn to tame the beast over time.
Think about it as your wife. A little bit rough in the edges, but on the straigt.. It's all goood :)

I love my C63, the best 4dr in the game, IMO. I have mine sitting at almost 700 hp right now.:)

That is actually pretty disgusting^

But anyway, once I bought my C63 I fell in love. Car is such a beast and it's probably the best car to drift I've found. So much bloody fun.

With about 600-700hp NA and able to boost it is just insane. I'm only around 500hp now, because the turbo I felt was just too much

This car is just awesome though. I'm just pissed the limited wheel selection and I can't supercharge it

Yea, I purchased this car and fully bolted it. Thing is a beast. But I ALSO cant keep tires on it. Have tried different tires and every time, they are toast within 1 lap. Any Ideas on how to keep some skin on it, besides taking the power off?

ajust on your garage the suspension and angle of the wheels and also...check if your tires are installed...took me a while to figure that out, even though you buy everything...the car remains made of fabric...you have to costumize by yourself. I learned that with my r35 that was getting brake locks on turns or not turning tight enough for fully equipped and soft tires

It's really an axe murderer, something James May isn't very fond of. :scared:

I'll admit though, it is my most favorite looking Benz, out of ALL TIME, including the top tier stuff like the McLaren SLR and the SLS. It just looks so MEAN.
Too bad it didn't get all that great timing on the Nurburgring.

I won a C63 AMG today and it's bloody awesome....
you DO need a racing wheel to control it though :dopey:

good luck mate!

I now know what my next car purchase is :)

Is there a list saying what races win certain cars?? If I can win it, I might just try that. Thanks

I just won the C63 on the AMG advanced too, then I did the all German race on the extreme, the first one and that was quite a toughie in a stock C63, I managed to win though and got the Pikes Peak, the Q7 one from GT4. Was hoping for something better.

The C63 though handles quite well, bit tail happy but no problem really. Not as quick down the straight as I thought it would be as I had a M3 gaining on me on the long straights.

There is a problem with the steering on my Mercedes mclaren SLR

I use GT steering wheel with no driving aids just 1 abs +
racing : supersoft tires (force feed back maxed 10)

The biggest problem is when I'm cornering at low speeds its already understeering

The only time it oversteers is if I accelerate turn in from within 0-40 kmh

Other than that all low/mid cornering gets a huge understeer Never goes correctly even if I try slowing down and trying to remove the understeer waiting for an oversteers but never came ( it is basically like I have ASM all the time........ It won't let me unleash the savagery )

this doesn't feel or look right it rarely oversteers and mostly understeer when I try to neutralize the understeer then trying for a bit of oversteer at the exit it never came nor did it for all IT'S LIKE I HAVE ASM all the time which I do not.. ever

Another thing is the brakes I was expecting great brakes but I think it's not that great compared to the real mclaren SLR braking capability

Watch both to see what I mean by McLaren SLR braking capability so the braking simulation of the SLR I in gt5 doesn't feel like it has mclaren brakes nor is it using the air braking ( I have no idea if the air braking works haven't tested replacing it with a big wing ) but seriously the mclaren slr braking should be atleast more than 1/3 more than it is right now that's the specialty of the slr and watch the 2 links everybody should be able to understand what I mean by the braking capability of this thing because it's way way way behind from what it should be doing on braking

I was expecting oversteers then with the help of countersteering and the mclaren's e differential to get me back on a straight line which is supposed to be the thrill ( I have driven the Ferrari 599 in gt5 prologue without any driving aids and it was awesome on turn ins - it gave me that terrifying ferrari feel * I haven't driven the 599 in the full version * )
On the mclaren SLR right now I don't feel the fun nor do I feel the thrill of driving it.....

Anyone have the same problem??

I think there is a problem with the SLR right now

I did the same thing, I was really hoping for a SLS... :dopey:

You get an SLS as prize car for getting gold on all the advanced level AMG Ring tests.
