If I had a McLaren Mercedes seat and got to choose anything the two companies built (which includes S63 AMGs, MP412Cs, the odd remaindered SLR, etcetera)... I think I'd make the same choice. :D

I love the current C-Class in any form, its the best looking Merc out there currently in my opinion and this one looks amazing.
 
Y'know... I can't help feeling Mercedes has missed a trick by naming the car the DR520.

It has no snazz to it. They should have called it something more exotic.

What about... C69?

But everyone knows wagons were made cool with the introduction of the Volvo 850 - the estate version of which became more popular than the saloon. Then it became really cool with the T5 and R versions.

Don't want to be rediculous, but a language warning may be needed for that link, too...

Nah...they were cool with the Vista Cruiser in '70.
 
Wagons have always been cool. But linking them to F1 should help everyone else realize that. :lol:
 
Dull name, cool car. Merc's range of performance cars must be utterly confusing to anybody not familar with them!

While I'm usually a fan of this matte black fad, I feel it looks wrong on the wagon, especially with those rims. Just doesn't look evil enough. I'm sure the sound makes up for it though, those 6.2's are fantastic.

...if I had the seat though, pretty sure I'd want the MP4/12C instead :D

DR520 sounds so American, sounds like I went to a John Deere shop.

But the car looks bad ass.
 
I live about 5 minutes from McLaren World (the building in the back ground of the above photo) and my offices overlook the site.

When I'm out having a smoke break I can hear the deep grumble of the AMG V8's (C's and E's, saloons and estates) and the howl of tortured tyres as they run passenger laps... the engines sound trully fabulous :)
