Hi all, I bought a C63 for my first foray into drifting, I set it up as per a suggested setting I found on the net but the trouble is it just lights up its tyres through 1st, 2nd and 3rd and becomes impossible to control.

I'm using Comfort tyres as per the regs for Drifting trials, are there any other main settings I should be adjusting? ABS etc? I am using a Logitech GT steering wheel. Thanks.

Throttle control should be employed until you get a feel for what the LSD needs when using a stock or close-ratio gearbox. A fully-customizable gearbox speeds up the process but really it depends on the driver and what's comfortable for them.

I think the issue is that its your first drift car. Any high powered drift cars are hopeless to drive if your starting out (I learnt that with the Chevelle, a lot different to GT4).

I can't help you with the wheel (I don't own one) but you should set ABS to a high setting as it only affects your braking.

Another thing to know is to tune the car for what you like. Pre settings are good but you should adjust from there. If there is too much wheel spin reduce the power maybe and soften the rear spring rear rate if it feels to stiff when drifting.

This
and I would also recommend a car with less power at first then work your way up, because your gonna need a lot of practice to drift with a wheel
