The 63s (6.3 liter V8) are replacing the old 55s (5.5 liter V8) right? i wonder what that means for the 65s (6.0 liter V12) i guess thats where the 7.3 liter comes in. *crosses fingers for SL73 and S73*

The SL73 already debuted and went away, though less than 100 were made - the present SL65 produces considerably more horsepower, thanks to forced induction. The figures are 605 versus 525, if I recall correctly.

yes but obviously if there were to be a new SL73 it would be forced induced as well, and probably give between 700 - 750 hp. that would be sweet, but as i see now, wont happen.

as for an SLK63 that would be awsome as well. but it would probably be the detuned 475 hp version used in the CLK63.

I know it is a concept but it is a SCL, look at the license plate.

My license plate is 867 EJC. I drive a Volvo 850. Oddly they're unrelated. Go figure.

By the way, that car beats the 6-series for 'worst OEM wheels of all time,' though just very slightly.

They already have the CL 600, don't they?

Yes:

That's the third-generation CL600; it debuted in late January.

I was referencing the fact that that car would fit the exact same slot as the CL. I like how it looks like it has either exhaust coming out of the front bumper or brake duct inlets at the rear.

the f class I believe was an early concept for the cls, the license plate is probably just a coincidence since it was a street legal car. To my knowledge Mercedes currently has no plans to replace the twin turbo v-12 used in the xx-600 and xx-65 AMG cars (though it may become slightly larger), they are focusing on new diesel technology and adding direct injection to their current v6 and v8 engines.
the current product line for the new s class and cl class is as follows:
cl/s-550
cl/s-600
cl/s-63 AMG* cl versions pending
cl/s-65 AMG* cl versions pending
