Am at the last mission... It isn't terribly hard but... A heads note on not to destroy a certain building would HELPED!! I had to restart the mission cause I blew up a building with somebody in it or something... Haven't finished the damn mission cause I need a break from frustration... (Not a hard mission... But one of the longest to say the least)

More outfits would certainly be good instead of cheat characters though... (But thats just me)

I beat the game twice just to get both endings. One, the ending where people get nuked, and the other where they don't..But yeah..It's fun, not much replay factor...But fun the first time through....

It was just OK.

The "Blow stuff up" tag line is a little misleading. You would think you could do that at the beginning of the game, right? Wrong. Even a few missions into the game, your options of blowing stuff up is limited at best.

For someone who has a severe back log of games (San Andreas, MGS3, SH4, NFS:U2, and now GT4 and God of War), its just not worth slugging through another game.

There are rumors that Mercenaries should have been EA's next game in the Strike series. For those who don't remember, the Strike series was the isometric helicopter shooting game way back on the SNES, 3D0, Genesis, and PSX. Supposedly, EA didn't like how the development was going, so they dropped Pandemic and LucasArts picked the game up. When Pandemic jumped ship, they changed the game around into a open ended game that we now know as Mercenaries.

I would have loved a new Strike game. :indiff:

IMO the last mission is worth buying the game ! A tank led assault...plenty of opfor...the prison is the building you dont want to blow up because the dude with the abort codes in in there. I just finished it last night....I'm good for another go at it .
