Well, when someone wants some help or advice to start drifting and posts a thread saying: Help, then starts an argue between us, usually talking about tyres, drivetrain to begin, amount of power for the car...........

My idea is post a sticky thread that says: "Do you want to start drifting?" (or something like that).
And in there put a explanation of the different ways to drift, the advantages and disadvantages of each one (sim tyres, slicks, super softs, low/medium/high powered cars, LSD, suspension.........and lots of things), because people who know how to drift think that his way is the best, and what I think is the best way is to leave people chooses it what more it likes.

English isn't my favourite language, so I think explanations are a bussiness for TruenoAE86 (man, you're the king. Always if you want to do it).

What do you think about this??
:) ;)

I think it is a fantastic idea imho... it would get rid of posts that are already answered, and we dont have to be bugged by it

and i hardly have the gas in so doesnt help to give less gas

you might want to try some diff tires or you should just counter-steer than gassing thorugh the turn more. gas a little bit, but not alot.:D :D

Well.... I just picked up drifting again.. I might say.. I've lost quite a bit... I'm just trying to regain it back.. still having trouble with the counter-steer and gas.. lol*AND i'm using a wheel... i suck.. haha*

Yeah, great idea… but it's been done already, and it's written by Cudaman himself; “the drift guide”. It’s has all the information needed to drift; if all the newbies would read that then there would be a lot less questions.

Yes, you're right but in the settings that CudaMan gives is the low powered car and sims. I think it would be better post in a thread examples of the different ways to setup the car, because there're people that can't drift with that settings and ask here. :)

Cudaman is my dad, make no mistake. But the drift guide was made with the Steering Wheel in mind if I'm not mistaken. Not everyone drifts with the wheel so you can't really tell them to read it and expect them to learn using the analog while following tips for the wheel.
But I will admit I learned alot form Cudaman's guide and everyone should read it, but maybe we need another guide that focuses around the analog.

I'm talking of settings, I think CudaMan's guide works for D-pad, DS2, wheel or whatever.
Here come people asking for settings, and my idea is post examples of diffrerent settings and let the people choose what it likes more. :)
