Messed dashboard in 07 M3

Hey guys
So i was racing at the daytona road course a bit ago on a event i cant remember
Anyways everytime i went around the last corner when id be at my max speed the needle on the dashboard would stay at the top ebd and a new one following my actual speed as a i brake would apear
This happened every lap
I was jus wondering Has anyone else had anything like this?
 
So the speedometer needle is stuck and what?
 
A second needle appeared? I have never had that problem, try doing the event again, and try to take a video of it, then post it here.
 
I don't know if it's related, but some of my cars have a problem with the rev counter, the needle stops but the engine keeps revving a bit more.

That happens when the car revs past the end of the tach.

no, what's happening is it stops at say 7000 rpm and the tach goes up to 9000 and I hear the engine continue to accelerate in the same gear. The needle is stopping prematurely.
