I like the MX-5/Miata - it's quite a fun little thing to drive, certainly a lot better than in GT1 and 2. It seems to come alive with the GT Force, lovely feel through the feel, and it doesn't mind being thrown around a bit.

I enjoyed the enduro for this car - it made the superhard slicks last so long I got in a real groove, trying to improve lap times - braking a bit later here, getting more onto a kerb there. I was actually a little disappointed when the race finished!

I was quite surprised...I thought of all the enduraces, it would be must gruesome, but intstead, it was most memorable.

I second that! Especially when your driving a 5/ 6 spd on a winding twisty course. It can get to you after a while. I usually don't think about it when I'm driving but after long periods of time it can get annoying.

As far as the miata goes. I'm not a real fan of it. Not sure why, no explanation. Just not really into it. Hope that's good enough.

The thing i like about enduros is that after you finish them the 10 lap and 15 lap races seem like nothing.

Yeah, it can be a momentum thing. But the next day after a peaceful night's sleep those 10 - 15 lap races turn to h*ll again.

That's fine - those of us who don't give a rat's arse about image can go ahead and enjoy a fine car. Driving enjoyment isn't just about mass horsepower and torque.

actually.. some of the more "beefy" guys round my area drive miatas....... so..... unless the definition of "women" is "beefy" then i don't think the miata is a woman's car..

haha woman, beefy, haha. beefcake is pretty similar to what he thinks drives miatas though. zero should quite being so attached to image. Atleast for a car you race on a track in a game, and no one will see you driving.

People say it stinks... but it dont. Its light and really easy to drive. I would recommend it to any newbie.

Oh dear - I'd have thought this was fairly clear (unlike that sentence):

I don't need 200hp+ to enjoy a car - have you ever actually driven a Miata? My Subaru only makes a bit over 150 and I love driving it. To me, driving enjoyment is about grip and handling - geez, with the number of speed cameras around here it can't be about straightline speed!

There's a road near where I live, which runs along the Iron Cove (in Sydney) - it pitches, rolls, and you can't really drive at more than about 70 kmh through the really fun bit (which is only about a kilometre or so). I drove an old 1.6 Miata on fresh Bilsteins through there about three years ago - it was a joy, it felt like the steering was connected to your brain, something I genuinely doubt your Chevelle could boast.

definately. as far as i know you cant get a rwd for near the price of it. it handles good because of rwd and weight. and the rwd chassis can handle 350hp. it feels nothing like a 300hp turbo vitz.
