I have a Logitech USB mic. I do not have the instructions nor box anymore. I cannot get it to work.

So far I have checked for low volume and mutes, tested the voice in sounds and audio, checked the mic in the recording control window, unplugged then plugged in again the mic. It came with no software. What else can I do? It's a very good mic. The cpu is dying, that might account for it.

If you are on Windows 98/Me, then that is the problem I think.

I found a download for a dirver on this site.

Have you tried looking at the volume settings for playback and record? They're 2 different sets of volume levels, basically, and they're managed the same way, just have different categories. To change back and forth between them, go to the Volume settings window (with all the bars), and go to Options>Properties. There you can select which mode to adjust.

Erm, have you check to make sure that it is drawing power from your USB Root Hub via the device manager? If it isn't, chances are it is dead.

This mouse is usb too, and it works. Yes, Car, I have. However, it will work if I test the mic in the sounds and audio devices. But only if I set the device for ak5370. Unfortunately, the only thing I can volume control with ak5370 in the recording control is capture. The other one no longer seems to work.
