Microsoft getting shot to pieces over Hotmail "update"

Yeah I use Hotmail and I slammed them in the feedback comments thingy, seriously some people at MS live under rocks! I hope they get so many complaints they revert back.

Firstly removing visual icons makes things harder to identify, now its all text which means its a step backwards in usability.

All the fonts / text is bigger so you see fewer emails on each page so its also less productive! :lol:

Oh and the new themes are rubbish and everything looks washed out.

They said oh 'some slight house keeping', this is a whole bloody different program now! This really says it all about the people who work on the Live team because their new Messenger 9 Beta is also ulgy as sin and totally unusable. Atleast with that your not forced to switch from 8.5.

I hope they dont apply the same stupidity to Windows 7 but hopefully thats not run by a team of school children!

I only still have a hotmail account for MSN, and I don't even use MS's messenger for that.
If you send an email to my hotmail address you'll have to wait a while to get a reply :)
 
the only thing I find annoying is the fact it's been sized for widescreen. when you have to keep the screen resolution at absolute minimum to have fonts large enough to read AND don't have the space (let alone the Money) for a brand new state of the art monitor...

Same here. I logged in yesterday after seeing this thread and I don't like the look. It doesn't matter at all to me though.
