Running XP Home. I made a movie using MS movie maker2 and clicked save on CD and the
error "a recordable CD drive was not detected" even though I have an internal CD-R in my Pc.

Can't figure it out. Does anybody
know what is causing this error?

I tried they help web page..but noone answers. It's been more than a week since I posted my problem.. Can some help..

Thanks in advance..

By internal CD-R you DO mean CD writer right ?...

If you do NOT mean CD writer - get one ;)

Yes.. I meant CD Writer....

M Movie Maker says I don't have one..?

WTH.....?

If you, somewhere in XP, right click on a random file, selects "Send To", do you have the option of sending the file to your CD writer ?.. If not, chances are, XP has decided you do not have a CD writer... In that case, see if your CD writer works with other programs.

Then do the usual check for updated drivers etc...
