Microsoft announced Doom 3, GTA:SA, and Half-Life 2 are coming to the Xbox next year.
What really ticked me off was when they said when Xbox gets "hand-me downs", Xbox usually makes look even better in most parts, graphics, faster loading times, and more.

I don't believe jack-squat they'll make Doom 3 and H-L2 look better than the PC.
I have a newly-bought Dual GeForce 6800 which in today's standards is expensive, and the best way to graphics power. Xbox doesn't have the power of dual 6800 cards. So tell me, Microsoft how you plan to up the looks of a game that looks it best on DirectX9. I used to play on DX8.

I probably neglected to mention that XBox also considers the 3 "hand-me downs."
They said loading times, gameplay, and more would be improved. Not just graphics.

Did you know the X800 XT PE, X800 Pro, X800 XT, X850 XT, X850 XT PE and X850 Pro are all better then the 9800 XT.
 
The only game there that will look better then the others is possibly GTA SA. Dunno why it p***ed you off though, not exactly a big deal.

Well the 9800 is the equivalent of the 6800, which is what the thread starter mentioned.

I thought San Andreas was a PS2 exclusive!!! They gave away GTA 3 and Vice City to Xbox on the terms thats SA would NEVER come out on Xbox!!!!! Have I missed something?

I agree with you. Ports usually suck over the originals. They'll probably screw up the graphics just like they did with the Xbox version of Counter-Strike. For some crazy reason my crappy laptop produced better Counter-Strike 1.6 graphics than the Xbox version. The only port I can think of that looked better than the original was the GTA double pack.
