Microsoft's official XBL site doesn't give me PRICES for the different packages

Stupid Microsoft and it's stupid stupidity! Anyone here know the actual PRICES of the different packages? Silver, Gold, etc?

I am thinking about getting it but if it is too expensive then I won't even bother trying it.
 
I thought it was generally known that Gold is $50/year. Silver is free. Simple enough.

You can sometimes find Gold memberships for less, if a store is having a sale, or on Ebay or something, people will be selling membership cards for cheaper.
 
Here are the prices as made available at any retail store that sells XBL cards:

- One Month: $7.99
- Three Months: $19.99
- One Year: $49.99

That seems pretty reasonable to go for the full-year, IMO. A little over $4 a month isn't bad, and considering you only have to pay once a year, I think it is a bit more convenient as well.
