Well, anyone here played the game yet? From the review I read from IGN it does seem to be quite fun to play. I had played MC since MC2 (although I quit playing it after reaching the last boss. :indiff:) and manage to get 100% for both MC3 and MC3 DUB remix. 👍 Since I don't have a 360 nor a PS3 right now, I guess this will be the closest thing to playing MC4. Will give a short review on it when I have it. ;)

well. I have a Ps3 and I bought Midnight Club LA.

K. this is just MY oppinion k?

I had Midnight Clubwhen it 1st came out years back. (pretty good)

I got the Next one and it was more realistic yet still kept the fun

When Dub Edition came out I was lke yeah.

But now that LA is out I feel like they really havent given us anything but new car.

Its still pretty fun. the graphics are alittle better, the cars are more up to date but as for the game. Its basically the same. not a BIG change in the game play at all :indiff:

If I would have rented it first, I probably wouldnt have paid for it.

Well I downloaded the game today and played it and it was fun! :D
Although it would really get frustrating at times, but then again what game isn't frustrating? ;) Bought a 240SX Silvia and now also got myself a Camaro. :sly: The graphics were quite good compared to MC3 on the PS2, and that really says a lot on how good the graphics are.... (although I think its nowhere close to the quality of the PS3/Xbox 360) Gameplay wise it feels pretty much like any MC game, very arcadish and simple. 👍

Would definitely recommend you guys renting this one out first before buying (or download it if you feel like cheating yourself) Its another good racing game that should be added to anyone's collection. :)

I recommend it, I also purchased it legally from a store and have gotten quite far into the game.

As said, the graphics are brilliant, and I find the game quite addictive.

The genuine game you can buy works brilliant on the PSP

I would recommend it for sure.

On a side note, the vinyls are really crappy for the most part, too much going on in most of the designs - some are alright though, if vinyls are your sort of thing.

No second chances. You have been warned.

My friend got it the other day. It's a pretty decent arcade racing game. Has all the cars and customization options you come to expect. The racing is fun but can definitely get frustrating. Especially when you clip a car or side of a building or some other random object on the last couple corners of the last lap and lose the race. :ouch:

HaHaHa I did the same thing.:dopey:

usually happen when I was doing a series. And these guys drive faster cars.

Im trying to when pinkslips. how do i do it?

Haha, same thing always happens to me. Good thing I can still earn money if I finished 2nd or 3rd and restart again. 👍 So how far are you guys in the game? I think I was around 50+% completed, while having achieved a "Legend" status in L.A. and gotten all the collectibles. The cars I owned now is a 240SX, a 69 Camaro, a Focus, a Skyline, a Evo and a 300C. 👍

Im not to far into it. But so far I have:

2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR
2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14
2006 Ducati 999R
1987 Buick Grand National GNX
Chevrolet Camaro Concept "Dub Edition"
Dodge Challenger Concept "Dub Edition"
1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX
2004 Ford SVT Focus

I am very sorry, it will not happen again. Thank you for giving me a warning instead of banning me.

Again, I am very sorry.

Not very smart dude. Anyways moving on.

It's one on my list to try once im satisfied with it i'll buy it off ebay cant be wasting to much money on PSP Games when there are ways to access them. The PS3 Version however is as I agree with Mr Smith lol. Nothing new imo just new cars and a ton of more frustration in completing the game but very fun neitherless very recommended as a rent but i wanna try the PSP version too lol

Heh, the game got boring pretty fast IMO. :p
Finished 100% for L.A. and just started to do the Tokyo career mode. Not to say it was really difficult or frustrating (NFS and Burnout is more difficult and frustrating to play, makes me want to chuck my PSP at the wall....) but the replay value kinda falls short since I can't play this online or with friends (not all of them liked racing games....)

Also, I find it quite sad that when I completed the L.A. career mode, there weren't any hard races left on the map, they just only had that traffic light race (or whatever it was called) which was on normal difficulty. So buying that Saleen S7 would be out of the question. :grumpy:

Cars I have right now in L.A. career are:
240SX
69 Camaro
Focus
Skyline
Evo
300C
Cobra Concept
Ducati 999R
Audi R8

Tokyo career:
Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX

I think it is awesome, but I couldn't help to notice its the same map from midnight club 2 just with better graphics so I wonder if some of the old MC2 glitches will work. Either way an awesome game.

Is the 100% in the box the percentage of the game?
if so. Im finished. i was wondering because after the 1,000,000s and the credits. I kept getting the same races over and over.

So yeah, my friend got pretty far in L.A. and unlocked motorcycles. He had to do something like 6 motorcycle races but only managed to do about 2 before he ran out of races. Anyone else had this problem? :boggled:

He ended up starting Tokyo but still...odd...

i cant recall how many cycle races i did. wasnt many at all. the dude that wanted to race bikes in the hills and the bikes that happened to race with the cars is all i remember.

But id do remember an insane glitch. rolling a Ninja. CRASH. held the emergency brake and gas ("hurry hurry get back on the bike") Dummy never got on the bike. Im racing as a Ghost. Driverless bike.

Hmmm..... same thing happened to me as well, but after I finished L.A. Haven't played the game much now, been pretty busy playing SVR2009..... :D
