I was sat in the cinema watching The Sentinel tonight and with it being set in Washington, my mind was drawn back to number 3 on the Xbox. I got a lot of enjoyment out of that game (it was the game I bought with the console) and was thinking about how good they could make it with the 360's power.
I think that it's similarity to test drive would mean they'd have to change the formula slightly, but it could work. A little list of what I'd think would be cool...
London, Rome and a mountain region in the Alps.
Using Microsoft's licenses could see BMW, Ferrari and Lamborghini added to the game
Visual upgrades to all cars (paint and rims, not street racer bodykits and stuff)
Variety of missions, with the Rome and Alps stages taking the form of the film Ronin, with London seeing you as a cop.
Free ride, with London connected to Rome by Eurostar and the Alps could be accessed by a long Autostrada section.
