Mike Hailwood

Recently i've been delving in the 70's era of F1 and got interested in some of the figures from back then; who they were and how they eventually died in many cases. Some of you will know about Mike Hailwood as he was a gifted bike racer turned F1 pilot. I found this story told from a girl that dated him and that was to turn out to be his soulmate, and what struck me more about this read is that it's more about premonitions of the course of live and death, than the racing itself. Mike actually knew how he was gonna die beforehand, and no; it wasn't on a racing circuit.

Thanks very much for this, don't know much about the F1 years. On a DVD I have, he said, didn't really like the cars, because they moved about too much.
