I started messing around with this image in photoshop, and I came out with a pretty cool look (imo).

Tutorial
Step 1:
Create a copy of the layer (assuming you only have the image of the car).
Step 2:
Click on the top layer and go to Filter > Stylize > Glowing Edges. There's really no set amount to use, but the setting that I used was:
Edge Width: 2
Edge Brightness: 20
Smoothness: 1
Step 3:
After you apply the filter, it looks basically like crap (black background with glowing edges). In order to fix the black background, all you have to do is set the Layer mode to Overlay.
So... Pretty simple for a pretty cool look?
