Mini Cooper S League Anyone??

Hey everyone while sitting in my dark room just praying for GT4 to come about soon, i thought hey, Woudl'nt a mini cooper s league be cool? :dopey:

The mini is such a great road car to begin with and being so much fun to drive in real life it ought be just as good in GT4. This will be league with minor mods to the engine and drivetrain to give the mini a little more pep in it's step 👍

This league would also inculde tracks that would alow the mini to shine, with many different turns, and quick sprints.

Name: Mini Cooper S Cup

Cars: Mini Cooper S

Car modifications (all cars will have stock suspensions, and also have identical whp and torque ratings-)

Suspension- Stock

Brakes- Sports

Engine- Sports Exhaust, Stage 1 turbo, Sports intercooler

Drivetrain- Stage 2 Clutch, Semi-Racing flywheel, 2.0 LSD (stock tranny)

Tires- Any of your choosing for the track or weather

Weight- Stage 3 reduction

Tracks would include some like:

Cote de Azur (sorry if my spelling is off)

Nuburgring :)

Laguna Seca

Tokyo

Seattle :)

New York

Deep Forest 2

maybe* Le Mans

The laps I am unsure of, but please let me know what you think, ideas and suggestions are welcome 💡 - Thanks :)

That sounds awesome, my dad has a Cooper S, it is the most fun I have ever had in a car. I can't wait to drive it in GT4.
 
i agree with sun and nemo and have to say that the ergonomics of a mini cooper s really need a stripped down race version cuz otherwise the steering wheel drives me crazy, i hit my knee on the column and finding the best seating position is impossible...but it looks cute

Ok thx guys for letting me know it was just an inquiry i had, i thought it would, be fun i guess i prolly need more input but 1st impressions are dim, thx for letting me know what you think.

How does the steering wheel drive you crazy??? And you musy be HUGE if you hit your knee on the column. My dad is 6'8" and he drives the Cooper S daily with no comfort issues.
 
Your tuning based on GT 3 mods. You have to assume that their will be new mods or changes to mods already in place. Also why no suspension upgrades? Otherwise if you were racing on nice twisty courses I would be up for it. I can't stand that car on long High speed tracks.

thank you darin...officially last post from my side...im sure even hulk would fit in and he also would agree with me that its a question of preference...my '89 325i kills it nonetheless and it doesnt even have a supercharger:D
 
There's already a Team Mini and an OLR forum for this sort of thing - that's two too many for you today.
 
I think you should just wait untill the game ihas been out for a bit before you make these OLR series.

A Mini Cup would be nice, maybe even better than a Vitz cup.
