mini in america?

i just saw that the mini is coming to the US... Is it gonna be something worth buying?

Do you think Americians will make it a success?

I have to disagree. Since they aren't being brought here in such large numbers, I don't think they will achieve the common status of the new Beetle.

And, unfortunately, I'm not sure if most Americans will take kindly to a British car. Whenever I mention "Mini Cooper", "Lotus", "TVR", etc., to most of my friends, they don't have a clue what I'm talking about. Hopefully, the Mini will change all this. Personally, I love the little car (how can you not?), and after seeing one in person at the U.S. GP, I like it even more!

Well im staying with my thought i have a feeling that they will be big. Well in my city, everybody loves new things here! since i do live in the 8th largest city in this GREAT COUNTRY OF THE USA

Its BMW "made", and since its BMW made, the price tag is high. Unfortunatley, its a bit too high, even for a BMW. As long as the dealer markups arent too high, it'll sell around what the PT Snoozers are/were going for, after markups. Butr ya gotta admit, no matter hoe high quality, that price is steep for a car that small.

road adn track said the stock mini handles extremely well, i already have myself down for them mini s, i think it will be a fun car, i am guessing around 25 grand for a nice one, it has a 6 speed box and 165 horse stock, and a hood scoop, i am thinking of getting a regualr hood put on and get cold air intake, but it comes with 17's and its light as a dirty mofo, my dad had one so i feel the need to rock it, it should be fu, i'll tell you how it is in june
