The Mini Paceman received its first facelift in spring this year and now the UK-based automaker is gearing up for the model's July 2014 launch.

In terms of styling, Mini has added a revised structure of the hexagonal radiator grille, new standard and optionally available light alloy wheels with reduced weight and optimized aerodynamic properties, as well as new exterior paint colors Jungle Green metallic and Midnight Grey metallic.

On the inside, the Paceman gets dark dials for road speed and engine speed display, newly designed chrome applications for the ventilation controls and new standard features such as the Mini Center Rail storage system and sports seats for driver and front passenger.

The Mini Paceman continues with the same engines, two petrol and two diesel units, each with four cylinders. The Mini John Cooper Works Paceman features a 218 PS (215 hp) turbocharged engine and a standard ALL4 AWD system, while the Mini Cooper S Paceman sees its output increased by 5 PS to 190 PS (188 hp). All engines are mated to a standard 6-speed manual gearbox, while a 6-speed automatic is an option. All models get a sports chassis as standard, as well as the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC).

I was going to reply saying something about Mini by name only. Call me a traditionalist but I have an intense dislike for the way Minis keep getting bigger all the time :irked:
Then I remembered it's probably best I don't as who wants to hear that? A late attempt at keeping a negative comment to myself :banghead:

Oh well it's out in the open now:ouch:
