I'm currently visiting my folks in Umeå, far up north in Sweden and yesterday evening I went out with my brother Martin and some of his friends for an improvised minimoto happening.

I've never driven one of those before and it was so much fun. At first it felt really dangerous and wobbly but when you get the hang of how to lean in properly to corner it works much better. :) Only downside is that you can only drive it in 10 minute stints because it's so vibrating and shaky and also the awkward driving position.



So, some warming up... And here we go!

But you do get wet, and Filip also had some serious trouble to get his bike run properly again.. :lol:

A silly mini can never beat the power of the brick on wheels! Beware. :cool:





Finally 2 shots of Filips 9-5 Aero. An awesome beauty with it's 19" rims. Anyhow I'm not so sure about the twin Japanese exhaust. It sounded like a beast though.

At home i still have my bike from when i was little. it's fun doing a wheely with it :)
 
I used to work in a motorcycle shop years ago...those minibikes are a blast.:sly:

CFM, yea it was much fun.

Unfortunately though these chinesebuilt bikes have pretty poor quality so there's always something that falls off or needs fixing. :) But they're cheap. Delivered and ready for about 250$ here..
 
Hahah, you all look hilarious! Must've been great fun though, i always wanted to get a knee down on one of those minimotos :D

I ride dirtbikes (YZ125). Them minis are all the rage now, how fast did they go?
 
Cool Juend! I've seen minimotos driving front ofout house where we lived before. They sound pretty awesome 👍

Stock about 40-45 km/h and for a beginner that feels more than enough.

With some modifications to the tranny and engine tuning they can do at least somewhere in the 70-80 km/h range. That would be quite scary.. :nervous:

The Crusty Deamons do backflips with mini motos 👍

Jugend thats some nice speed 👍, My moto only does around 120kph but thats plenty with trees 30cm either side of you and ridin on dirt and bumps.

On a mini bike 45kph would feel very fast being so close to the groud!, 80kph would be insane hehe.
