(Incidentally there was another topic on this in the Rumble Strip, but it's over half a year old. So I figure it'd be better just to create a new one)

It's a top-down racing game that mimics F1 - you can have a full weekend with practice, qualifying, and an actual race online!

I don't think it's too horribly hardcore (or fancy) - I can control it with a keyboard. No GTR here, maybe a little bit more on the arcadey side. But it seemed like fun to me.

Except, y'know, there's not a whole lot of online games out there. And most of the people no speak english. >.> Anyone else interested in setting up an online league of some sort?
 
Me and blake used to play this a fair bit. I might download it again.
 
Yeah, I used to play it a lot. I was in an English speaking league, I was pretty damn good. I only have 56k, and it was pretty bad with more than 5 or 6 players, I think as the game’s got better it’ll just run worse, so sadly I’ll probably have to give it a miss. :(
 
(note: try Firefox 2.0. It crashed while I was typing this, but when I restarted it it restored all my windows. With this half-written post still in it! Incredibly awesome)

Sorry I haven't been saying much over the last few days. I've either been a) busy playing or b) forgetting about this topic. You pick. :)

Good to see there is some interest in maybe getting some sort of mini-league going, but I'm not sure if online play is really incredibly feasible, since everyone appears to be on the other side of the world (just looking at this topic, we've already got Australia, London, and California for me), so, uh... >.> Maybe I'll give it a shot next weekend, I'll get the date down later as I figure out when I'm open (don't know about you guys).

And if all else fails, a WRS-style offline championship is always possible ^^

Dunc and I did some racing last night and we really want to setup a GTP championship if we can get about 6 or so people interested. Anyone?
 
Well I downloaded it but each time I double-clicked on the .exe file, I got errors, as well when I tried to extract the file to my desktop...
 
Make sure when you extract it that you keep the file structure…
 
is this dead for good?? i re downloaded the game and since i last look at it 3 years ago it did progress intensely now you can race rally cars and DTM also classic F1's, LMP's you name it.

as suggested above a WRS TT's using this must be fun anyone?
