Missing DLC..

Hi all - recently got to a point where I can't go any further without purchasing better spec cars.
Bought from the store - my question is where do they appear in the game to be used?
Find cars - My cars?
Not sure I've received them and it has been a week now.
Any help appreciated...
 
If you purchased any DLC you still have to go through the process of purchasing it like its new, but the first one is free.

I can say for sure you don't need DLC cars to win, I used the base cars to complete the game and in multiplayer.
