I just bought a used Mitsubishi CZ Tarmac '01,4wd, bought lsd in Tuning section but when its time to adjust it in the Drivetrain section it's not there. Tried to install another lsd but says "the car already has this part installed",,checked back Drivetrain section still not there. How is this possible? Glitch?

Aren't Mitsubishis controlled by AYC instead of LSD?

^ Does the CZ even have AYC? :odd:

Edit: Yes it does.

When I went to the Drivetrain section, AYC's box is checked, tried to uncheck the box but it won't do it. But how come you can buy and install lsd from the Tuning section on the car and it's not even there? There is no lsd icon/picture on the driverrain section.

I have an Evo that you can buy the LSD, but it doesn't show in the tuning...
For this car, if you read the description, the description tells you about why. Because it's somehow automated in the car.
Check the description for the car you're talking about. It may be the same issue.

If the car has AYC, you're much better off to use that than a LSD.
For those that don't know, AYC controls left to right torque distribution. The stronger AYC is set, the more power goes to the outside wheels, giving better on throttle steering. A LSD can't do this (in real life at least)

i love CZ-3 tarmac just because of its handling... AYC its amazing :)

That car can compete with some race cars with more PPs.

yes AYC is controlling the lsd's second by second and corner by corner better than any tuning that could be done by a human. therefore it would be less than optimal if you were to adjust it.

Never mind the missing LSD! Did you see that dragon?

You can only have one or the other:

AYC
or
LSD

AYC is simpler, but LSD allows you to fine tune your accel, decel, and initial torque.

I personally find it better with a LSD, but that's my tuning preference because I seem to lose traction to one wheel with AYC. I don't think you're correct about the outside wheel receiving the power, its actually the inside wheel (unless I'm creating this from my suspension tuning).
