Missing Operating System!!

I haven't been on GTP in some time since my computer has an error. Missing Operating System. It started when the lights in my house went off. And when the electricity came back, it showed up the error. I've tried system restore, nothing, I've tried the bypass, nothing, I've tried the emergency boot disk, nothing. Still can't access my original pc [I'm using a diffrent one right now]. What should I try next?? Its WINDOWS ME.
 
You're hard drives and/or your motherboard probably have been damaged with a power surge. 👎 Tough break, dude. It really sucks. It happened to me... You'll have to buy a new motherboard....
 
While you're at it, I'd upgrade from ME too. 👍

Format.
 
In future use a surge protector, the same thing happened to me during a power surge, it fried everything, PSU, motherboard, graphics car, sound card, processor, ram etc.

If you can even turn your PC on its not as serious as my problem.
 
Format.

Reinstall.

Its as simple as that.
 
Easy answer is, get surge protection in future. Belkin stuff is some of the best in my opinion -up to £175,000 insurance if a surge gets through.

I got the prtoector from Gateway... had several surges and I remained on the comp
