I just got my G27 a few days ago and I'm loving it, overall.

There is one thing, however, that I'm having an issue with. I want to know if it's something other people have experienced or if I'm just crazy.

Changing gears feels like playing Operation with the H-gate. If you so much as graze the gate when changing from 2nd to 3rd for example, GT6 will register it as a missed shift.

Is this something others have experienced? Is it just my unit? Is there anything that can be done to prevent this (besides "get gud")? These are the things that keep me up at night.

I've had similar problems back when I had my Fanatec 911 Wheel, it just takes some getting used to really, once you have adapted yourself to the H - Shifter (which I find to be rather mushy on the G25/27), you're going to experience this less and less :)

I get the same problem with my G27, you're foot has to be fully of the gas to shift. But I think it shouldn't matter as long as the clutch is in. But oh well, as 20832 said, something you going to have to get used to.

Also, if you plan on getting a ps4 soon. Nice waste of money on g27 since atm its not working on ps4.

Why would I get a PS4 when I have a perfectly good PC? ;)

Besides, CronusMAX should allow you to use your G27 on XBO/PS4.

Also, glad to know I'm not crazy.

It's not you, it's GT. Doesn't replicate a good clutch model very well, it's one of the reasons why I ditched GT for PC sims like rFactor and LFS (mainly for drifting).

I got a decent PC as well, an driving games let me use the clutch without taking foot off the gas.

But I am new to GT when using a wheel since I've only brought my g27 about couple of months ago.
