Missing Stickers

I have a modest question. What happens if you use a sticker and save the design and the owner deletes it from his collection? It is missing from the design? It just happened to me. In the split view in the preview it is still displayed but on the finished design it is missing. Similar to when the servers go offline. That can't be the case. Can this mean that if you use other stickers at some point the designs are unusable? Can someone uploaded a inverted mperformance sticker?

When the original uploader deletes decals they disappear from the car you moment you load into GTauto iirc.
In GTS they only vanished when the car was loaded into the livery editor, so another classic PD backstep...
